is it okay to drain my battery on my mac pro or better if i always plug it in on the power outlet?

There is a little secret that they don’t tell you when you buy a laptop or a new battery. The battery should be cycled 4 to 6 times: Let it charge and then run the computer off of it until it goes dead. Do this 4 to 6 times. Then once a month run off the battery until it goes dead. This will greatly improve the life of your battery.
