Buying a land will afford you greater returns. You will be able to save money and then expect capital gains. It is a low risk investment avenue. Again you do not need large sums of money to be able to undertake this investment. With a few hundreds of Dollars, you would be partaking in something that will accord you much higher returns and peace of mind. In many cases land has outperformed stock and rightly so because it is something that will bee needed by man all the time. In some scenarios, land has tripled in price over a few years, presenting investors with a huge sum of money that would have been impossible with stocks.
Land has multiple uses. So the investor can always decide what to do with it as the situation demands. He can develop or choose to resell. This means it is flexible type of investment. The owner does not incur so much in keeping it.
But like with every type of investment, you need to take special care to ensure that you are buying from an area where the price will likely increase. You are looking at the patterns of development in the area and how they will complement your investment. You would want to buy land in an area that will see a significant increase in economic activities. You are also looking at an area where people will spend their leisure. An agricultural land will be suitable for a place where economic activities would be booming. If you are contemplating recreational grounds, then land with water sources, gentle slopes and wood will be good.
Within the next few years, land will be the main thing that people can count on safe investments. They will make purchases and then expect to see a huge growth in their property as the years go by.

15 acres of bare land. All riverfront property. Rural Arkansas Ozarks, yet known resort type area. I feel like the local bank that has agreed to lend without the appraisal is a bad deal and closing is coming up. We verbally agreed to 3 yr ballon with 10 year Amt.
