what steps are involved in finding property or a condo?
i have 70,000 and i plan to use about 40,000 down and i want to know if i need to contact a lender or should i just contact the realtor first? I called a realtor company and they said i could just use the lockbox and look at the condo on my own. they didn’t seem very helpful. is this normal procedure?

Your best bet is to call a couple of real estate brokerage firms and ask for a buyer’s agent. They won’t cost you a dime and they are working for you. They will take you buy the hand and show you around and answer any questions you may have. Good luck in your search. It’s a great time to buy.
